Acceptable Use

Last updated 16 September 2026 · Version 2026-09-16

Simple rules that keep the canteen fair and safe for every student. Operated by Thrive XYZ Limited.

Your account is yours alone

  • Do not share your password or let anyone else sign in as you.
  • Do not create an account for a child who is not yours, or claim to be a member of staff when you are not.
  • Tell us immediately if you think someone else has access to your account.

At the canteen

  • A student may only buy against their own wallet. Using another child's name or details at the till is not allowed.
  • Canteen credit may not be sold, exchanged for cash, or transferred between students outside the app.
  • Shopkeepers must charge only for goods actually supplied, and must not process sales on a student's wallet without that student present.

Honest use of the service

  • Do not attempt to top up with money that is not yours, reverse a legitimate transfer, or claim a refund for a purchase you received.
  • Do not attempt to bypass daily limits or item restrictions set by a parent or the school.
  • Do not probe, scrape, overload or attempt to break into any part of TuckPay, and do not use it for anything unlawful.

Respect and safety

  • Treat school staff, shopkeepers and our support team with respect. Abusive or threatening behaviour may lead to your account being closed.
  • Do not upload photos of anyone other than the person the photo is for, and do not upload offensive content.

What happens if these rules are broken

  • Depending on how serious it is, we may warn you, restrict a feature, suspend the account, or close it and inform the school.
  • Where money has been taken dishonestly, we will recover it, report it to the school, and where appropriate to the police.
  • If you believe someone is misusing TuckPay, tell us at admin@thrivexyz.xyz.
